Psyche
Inspirée d’une Psyché signée Lully, Molière, Corneille et Quinault, la Psyche de Locke fut un véritable feu d’artifice artistique : cherchant à rivaliser en splendeur avec les opéras du continent, elle mêlait avec gourmandise théâtre, chant, danse, décors et machines spectaculaires. Sébastien Daucé s’est livré à un formidable travail de reconstitution de ce chef-d’œuvre essentiel dans l’histoire de la naissance de l’opéra anglais.
